UKII

My very first electric guitar was an Ovation Preacher. I was 14, and I worked all summer to come up with the money. I loved that guitar so much, but I traded it in 3 months later, along with another chunk of cash, for the UKII. The UKII was Ovation’s flagship top of the line solid body.

This guitar is a breed apart from all others. The blade pickups can be switched in or out of phase, there’s a stereo output option, and the body itself is even a space-age material over an aluminum frame. Top it all off with the abalone work, 24 fret ebony fretboard, brass nut, and huge, solid, full of sustain bridge. This is and will always be my favorite.
